"Dont Go making Preconceptions."

 

My latest work is based on the idea of "preconceptions" and how we automatically start judging people from first appearances. Labelling them and assuming what their character, life style, interests are. When in fact they are most likely nothing like what we assumed...

I created a range of characters based on random names i found on the internet, in magazines and in conversation. I judged the names, Creating this image of this person in my head, all based of a name. From this, I encapsulated them within blown glass domes, ad up-cycled science glass, like a scientific specimen, ready for observation...
